Dr Rahul Malhotra is a dedicated, passionate and empathetic General Practitioner with a strong interest in providing holistic care for his patients, and forming long-term therapeutic relationships.
Hailing from South Australia, Dr Malhotra graduated in Medicine from Flinders University with a Chancellor’s Letter of Commendation. He completed his GP training across a diverse range of urban, rural and remote clinics in South Australia, working alongside emergency medicine roles in rural hospitals, and earned his FRACGP in 2024 before moving to NSW, where he continues clinical practice and is a medical educator with the RACGP itself. Through his diverse experience, he has a broad clinical foundation and a unique ability to manage a wide range of health concerns. He aims to provide genuine care by listening attentively, communicating clearly, and work with patients to help them achieve their best health outcomes.
Dr Malhotra aims to empower his patients and provide patient-centred care, with a general focus on chronic disease management and preventative health, men’s health, cardiovascular disease and mental health care. Having gained further training in dermoscopy, he also provides skin and spot checks and minor skin procedures for his ongoing patients and routinely performs iron infusions when indicated.
He has a special interest in sports and MSK medicine and has previously worked as a Sports Doctor with Sportsmed SA, and was also a team doctor in both the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and with FFA Australia Cup soccer teams. He is also passionate about providing high quality care and coordination to patients rehabilitating from injury, in WorkCover medicine and in Occupational Health such as work-related medical assessments.
Outside of work, he enjoys a range of sports, running and staying active, and is a keenly follows AFL and cricket.
